Another experiment in 3d material science. This is the phenomenon known as Sub Surface Scattering or SSS for short. There is another image in my gallery that shows another example of this. When you are working with designers who use interesting materials for their projects it helps to experiment as much as possible so that you can replicate any material that might exist in a designers tool kit. |
