Simple geometry and low polygon count with great textures can really make an ideal game model. They utilize much less space due to the reduced polygon count yet look realistic enough to bring the player into the game. I've placed a couple of the texture maps below so you can see how they are made up. Most game textures are measured in powers of two i.e. 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, etc. These help the game engine run more smoothly.
